How does the counting feel FOR YOU? Are you afraid you might say something which could be “politically incorrect”? Are you afraid of sharing your thoughts publicly?

What is politically incorrect? No, I am not afraid...
it is all about how you feel. i also find it difficult sometimes to write a lot when I know that the wider audience will read it, maybe because i am not ready to share all my thoughts with everybody. or maybe because i don't believe that i am good enough in writting so that i could be fully understood just by reading my words.
if many serbian people would feel as if they would really say something politically inccorect while participating in this blog, than they should't be here. it counts for everybody. i don't believe that somebody could be blamed for saying: i don't feel like - spanish, serbian, italian... it is just a brand that is put on you on the day you are born, and yes - it is a bit of a problem because everybody knows your brend, so they have a particular way of seeing you. sometimes there are a lot of prejudaces, but if you again go back to the idea of the brand, you'll find out that the way you feel or behave is much, much more important than the brand you got.
So, the last day is finished, what happened? No reactions, no more messages on the blog, I am curious. In the end, Toon might be right - maybe this was all the game. Please help me to get out of the confusion. I would still like to go on :)
As far as I know, it is about getting the nationality and all the questions which come along with that. It is good to start a dialogue about this on the blog. It is juts a bit strange that from yesterday there is no new post - becoming Dutch is becoming too busy? :)
The question about correct or not correct - I suppose there are lot of people who wouldn't agree with accepting the other nationality. What I am really curious is - what does that do in a relation to your friends and family living in your mother land? How do they percieve this? Do they judge the decision or they support it? As far as I could see from the people writting here, they would mostly like to become Dutch, too. Well, maybe not Dutch, but...
Sanja Mitrovic is theatre director and performer born in Yugoslavia, based in Amsterdam. She is a founder and artistic director of Stand Up Tall Productions (2009). In 2010 Mitrovic was awarded the prestigious Dutch BNG Nieuwe Theatermakers Prijs for the best young director for her production “Will You Ever Be Happy Again?” which is touring Europe to critical acclaim since 2008 (selected among five best performances of the 2009/10 season by magazine TIN). Mitrović is interested in the notion of documentary in theatre and its relation to the social, political and cultural realities of our times. Her performances are structured around the idea of montage combining theatre, performance, dance and visual arts. As documentary material she often uses personal stories and testimonies which she contrasts with official historical accounts. The form resulting from such a combination she terms a “docu-tale”. Permeated with subtle humour and sharp analysis, her works are marked by an urgency to explore the influence of the collective processes as well as important political and social issues on the private lives.
